Sundown, the award-winning short film by Joshua Sikora, was a landmark achievement for New Renaissance Pictures and production company Monsters of Efficiency. Shot in a single day with a budget of only $250, Sundown showcases our ability to create high-quality art efficiently. The Sundown crew combined tried and true production techniques with innovative new workflows and equipment to facilitate a fast and low-budget production.

The short premiered at the Biola Film Festival on May 2, 2003 and won 9 of the 10 awards it was nominated for. Sundown has gone on to screen at other film festivals and remains as a strong example of our goals and achievements.
