Anthony Parisi has a wide range of technical and creative skills. He is a director and editor with a passion for the filmmaking process and more specifically the post-production process. He has extensive experience in graphic design and compositing, doing frequent freelance design work for businesses and private parties.
In high school, Parisi helped form a production company on his campus that enabled him to direct and release 12 shorts, 10 cartoons, and one feature-length film from 2002–2005. He graduated near the top of his class and took his experience to Biola University's film program. He directed 4 short films his freshman year, including the superhero comedy Dino-Might, which was nominated for Best Comedy and Best Production Design at the Biola Film Festival in 2006.
In spring 2006 Parisi was asked to direct LATE Entertainment's first short film, Dinner with Death, an ambitious animated comedy written by Micah Haughey. After a six-month production period, the film was released to high praises and is now being submitted to film festivals across North America.
Parisi was also the director of photography on Bradley Clarke's upcoming psychological horror film, Winston and an editor and sketch producer for Biola's comedy program "LATE." Most recently, Parisi created and co-wrote the hit web serial Cataclysmo. In the first season, he also served as editor and post-production supervisor, while directing the show's second season.
During his remaining college years Parisi is dedicated to learn his craft and further extend his knowledge of cinema and the art of film editing. His passion is to become a professional film director and editor who can find effective and innovative ways to tell stories.
